Archivematica[edit]
Development[edit]
- Joseph
- changed how the database is re-created in the master branch: The 0.10 database is one file, then any changes we make will exist in other files. The idea being we'll be able to use the scripts to update the 0.10 deployments to 1.0
- included metadata.csv's weren't properly parsing when they contained non-ascii characters. I specified that the encoding to be utf-8. This means the csv files would need to be saved with that encoding. https://projects.artefactual.com/issues/5019
- work on tika. It is on hold till the tika package is built
- mediainfo, file, and fido require a closer look to identify which fields will make up an archivematica fileID https://projects.artefactual.com/issues/5035 https://projects.artefactual.com/issues/5034
- Mike C
- did a bit of work on the transfer approval REST API (making the access denied errors differentiate between bad credentials and non-whitelists IPs). I think that the errors Mark ran into were due to using the wrong curl args.
- Austin working on vbox download of 0.10 for wiki
Deployment[edit]
- Client IT staff member
- Installed 0.10-beta packages on client "production" install
- Provisioned more storage space on VM
- Updated production instance of AtoM to 1.3.1 to be compatible with Archivematica 0.10.
- Client's raster image DIPs at 72dpi work postponed until Justin gets back... clients should have a private repo for customizations (meeting scheduled)
- New feature-development partner client's 0.10-beta deployed
Documentation[edit]
- Courtney finished User Manual
- Client user contributed wiki documentation for CONTENTdm
- Joseph and Mike C added to Administrator Manual
- more screencasts to be released with vbox for .10
