Development[edit]

  • Austin: The 12.04 packages are up to date. The dev installer on 12.04 seems to be working a-OK. and Austin doesn't see the mcp choking on any of our sample data, though he's seen a normalization failure or two.
  • Mike has the microservice grouping working in rough (just on the transfer page for now, he'll put it into the ingest page when folks are happy with it). Evelyn, Courtney and Joseph checked it out and he has made some tweaks based on their feedback.
  • Evelyn is working on the email preservation plan and will add the necessary issues and do a wiki page with the workflow when it's ready.
  • Since Mike's busy with migrations, Courtney's putting off mockups for file browser until next week.
  • Courtney looked into transfer (and accession) metadata - Issue 787 - and added some comments from TAPER project and ICA-REQ
  • Joseph was stuck battling with vSphere on Ciaus for much of past week, finally looked to be victorious yesterday

Deployment[edit]

  • Austin set up an ec2 node for testing. Rght now, he's trying to figure out shared filesystems/network topography for multinode. http://23.21.154.208/. He hasn't been able to mount nfs on client nodes yet, so he's looking at nfs and glusterfs

(10:44:25 AM) mcantelon: Sounds good.

(10:48:27 AM) epmclellan: dev news I meant
(10:48:54 AM) epmclellan: any deployment news?

(10:49:46 AM) ARTi: http://23.21.154.208/

(10:52:33 AM) mcantelon: Pretty awesome... we can have our own AMI.
(10:52:47 AM) peterVG: okay
(10:53:54 AM) mcantelon: (AMI == a premade EC2 machine that people can easily roll out)
