Archivematica 1.15.0 and Storage Service 0.21.0 have been tested in the following environments:

  • Ubuntu 22.04 64-bit Server Edition
  • Rocky Linux 9 x86_64

For development purposes, most of our developers prefer to use Docker containers. These and all above environments are linked from the installation instructions above.

Archivematica 1.15 dropped support for Ubuntu 18.04 and CentOS 7.

MySQL 8.0[edit]

Archivematica 1.15 dropped support for MySQL 5.x.

Python 3.9[edit]

Archivematica 1.15 dropped support for Python 3.6.

Django 3.2[edit]

Archivematica 1.15 dropped support for Django 1.11.

Fixed[edit]

METS schema validation when loc.gov URLs are unreachable[edit]

Archivematica uses a local XML catalog to avoid contacting the loc.gov URLs.

Storage Service LDAP configuration[edit]
