Archivematica includes a full implementation of PREMIS in its METS AIP file to record actions (events) taken on objects by agents.  Archivematica 1.7 uses [https://www.loc.gov/standards/premis/v3/index.html PREMIS 3] which, among other updates, includes the definition of an object as an intellectual entity.
