PLEASE NOTE THAT 1.0 PACKAGES ARE NOT YET PREPARED FOR INSTALLATION. FOLLOWING PACKAGES INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN VERSION 0.10-BETA INSTALLATION. THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED AND A MESSAGE SENT TO THE DISCUSSION LIST WHEN 1.0 PACKAGES ARE READY


Once Archivematica 1.0 is installed, consult the user manual for user instructions and the administrator manual for administrator instructions.


Install from packages

This requires experience in Linux.

  • Install from Packages on Ubuntu Linux
    • Packages allow a user to quickly deploy a multinode environment, How to install packages
    • NOTE: Archivematica 1.0 requires Ubuntu 12.04.03. Ubuntu Server (either 64bit or 32bit) is recommended.
