The following documentation describes how to use each release of Archivematica in combination with manual workflow steps.
Archivematica is being developed iteratively, with each release cycle adding more detailed requirements along with increasing integration and functionality of the software components.
The objective is to create a fully-integrated, automated digital archives environment. However, a number of manual steps will likely have to be combined with software tool functionality to achieve OAIS compliance.
