(10:38:47 AM) epmclellan: from user-supplied structMap
(10:38:47 AM) epmclellan: Worked with Mark on some of the requirements for upload to content dm,
(10:38:47 AM) epmclellan: including:
(10:38:47 AM) epmclellan: Work on selectable choice from output of microservice -
(10:38:47 AM) epmclellan: used to get a list of collections from the server, and promt the user to
(10:38:47 AM) epmclellan: select one.
(10:38:58 AM) peterVG: actually I already said I'd keep 9am -11am open for AtoM issues. Why don't we formally book a mtg at 9.30 tomorrow to check-in on all issues. We can decided then if we need to discuss further in the afternoon
(10:39:19 AM) peterVG: sorry, that was late post for end of Qubit mtg ;-) ^
(10:39:24 AM) peterVG: JessicaB: Sevein djjuhasz ^
(10:39:44 AM) JessicaB: peterVG: yep. lots of work to do, so let's keep the meetings to a minimum.
(10:39:52 AM) peterVG: JessicaB: exactly.
(10:40:11 AM) epmclellan: I'll make Joseph's dev update look a little better in the notes
(10:40:17 AM) mcantelon: Mike C integrated select widget with autocomplete into dashboard for any action selections with 10+ items.
(10:40:29 AM) peterVG: lots of great archivematica dev this week
(10:40:34 AM) epmclellan: I love anything that involves widgets
(10:40:40 AM) ARTi: woops, little late to the party
(10:40:47 AM) epmclellan: hi ARTi you're not that late
(10:40:56 AM) peterVG: mark jordan made lots of progress with his ContentDM DIP upload microservices
(10:40:59 AM) epmclellan: CONTENTdm work is really coming together
(10:41:03 AM) peterVG: we're testing at UBC next week
(10:41:04 AM) epmclellan: it's very exciting
(10:41:05 AM) mcantelon: Mike C added two pages to the file browser: subdirectory selection after picking a source directory and a page with file commander-type functionality (familiar from DOS days) working with the file browser.
(10:41:18 AM) peterVG: mcantelon: nice. can't wait to see!
(10:41:31 AM) mcantelon: peterVG: Thanks... the file browser should be done in rough shortly... just one issue to deal with that I know of.
(10:41:47 AM) ARTi: added automysqlbackup to the shotgun package and some notes on setting it up here https://www.archivematica.org/wiki/Multi_Node_Install#Setup_automysqlbackup
(10:42:02 AM) mcantelon: Minor tweak: Mike C changed active tab color in dashboard.
(10:42:10 AM) epmclellan: Joseph has done a lot of work on maildir ingest, I'd like to test with RAC PST (converted to maildir first)
(10:42:32 AM) epmclellan: ARTi: can you help me convert large RAC PST to maildir? have to get it into MS Outlook first, I think
(10:42:44 AM) epmclellan: then run offlineimap on it
(10:43:18 AM) ARTi: dropped libreoffice service for star office service, this didn't involve adding or removing packages just change the exec path
(10:43:24 AM) ARTi: epmclellan: yeah I can help with that
(10:43:30 AM) epmclellan: great, thx
(10:44:03 AM) peterVG: ARTi: great. are we getting any better/diferent office doc conversion results?
(10:44:59 AM) peterVG: how are we looking for code freeze?
(10:45:24 AM) ARTi: well, the lack of total failure is new I think ;).. Im not seeing the same errors berwin22 was anymore Ive asked him to QA
(10:45:34 AM) epmclellan: peterVG: hard to update without Joseph and Courtney
(10:45:43 AM) epmclellan: ARTi: excellent
(10:45:45 AM) peterVG: epmclellan: yes, fair enough
(10:45:48 AM) epmclellan: "lack of total failure"
(10:45:49 AM) ARTi: Ive got PST -> maildir left..
(10:45:59 AM) peterVG: ARTi: this is where some comparitive test results would be nice
(10:46:31 AM) peterVG: you still have all those sql reports from your r??? testing. did it record normalization errors?
(10:47:23 AM) peterVG: rerun same ingest tests with same dataset using updated r???? that includes Star office. Lower number of normalization errors?
(10:47:29 AM) ARTi: peterVG: this was in regards to, http://code.google.com/p/archivematica/issues/detail?id=961&can=1&q=owner%3Ajoseph%40artefactual.com&colspec=ID%20Milestone%20Component%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Owner%20Summary
(10:48:21 AM) peterVG: okay, sorry may have misunderstood.
(10:48:43 AM) peterVG: so when you were doing your scalability testing this error was causing a critical error on office docs normalization?
(10:48:59 AM) ARTi: yeah, this wasn't to improve. this was because the libreoffice exec was not accepting flags propperly
(10:49:18 AM) peterVG: right okay
(10:49:32 AM) ARTi: but the staroffice exec is wrapped by libreoffice exec, so I called that instead and seemed to fix
(10:50:15 AM) peterVG: still useful to cache all those raw sql views from the testing so that we can run these types of comparisons in future.
(10:50:26 AM) peterVG: ARTi: great
(10:50:59 AM) ARTi: yeah, I still have all the original views, once Ive got these tasks done Ill get back on organizing the data
(10:51:02 AM) peterVG: so now we're just back to the buggy, unpredicatble office docs conversions
(10:51:07 AM) peterVG: ;-)
(10:51:12 AM) peterVG: ARTi: thanks dude!
(10:51:51 AM) ARTi: np xD
(10:51:56 AM) peterVG: alright. epmclellan has been busy with UN consult this week
(10:52:20 AM) epmclellan: yes, that's kept me pretty busy
(10:52:23 AM) peterVG: i've had lots of bidness & admin catchup from last week & ACA
(10:52:46 AM) peterVG: so with Joseph & Courtney away, we can call the mtg now
(10:52:48 AM) epmclellan: Courtney did some QA, but then worked on her Ipres paper
(10:52:59 AM) epmclellan: ok
