Description
Preconditions	UC-1.4 Generation of Descriptive Information If AIP is not already in Archival Storage, also UC-1.5 Transfer of AIP to Archival Storage
Trigger	Generate Descriptive Information sends Descriptive Information to Coordinate Updates (Step 4 UC-1.4) If AIP is not already in Archival Storage, Coordinate Updates receives storage confirmation (including storage identification information) from Archival Storage>Receive Data (Step 4 UC-1.5)
Successful outcome	Coordinate Updates receives a database update response from Data Management>Receive Database Updates
Steps	Coordinate Updates receives Descriptive Information from Generate Descriptive Information (OAIS Figure 4-2:Functions of Ingest Page 4-5) Coordinate Updates adds storage identification information to the Descriptive Information (OAIS Page 4-6) Coordinate Updates submits Descriptive Information to Data Management>Receive Database Updates along with a database update request (OAIS Page 4-6) Coordinate Updates receives a database update response from Data Management>Receive Database Updates (OAIS Page 4-6)
