Artefactual Systems, Internal Archivematica Dev Mtg, 2012-10-17

Development

  • Advanced_AIP_index_search needs input ; Courtney still working on mockup for results
  • Format_identification_requirements - mtg later today to discuss
  • Mike C organized dashboard code and created pagination helpers
  • Mike C implemented AJAX task dialog paging
  • Mike C fixed another issue with creating transfers including non-standard characters for file/folder names
  • Evelyn met with CVA staff to discuss mapping TRIM metadata to RAD
  • Joseph worked on creating new identifiers in the database, to identify against the fits output, to use for format identification in archivematica.
  • Evelyn has done some preliminary research on DIP upload to DSpace

Deployment

  • lots of good user feedback on install instructions
  • Mike C working with UBC AtoM DIP uploading set up - coming close
  • Austin and Joseph working on Ubuntu install via vmdk at CVA

Testing

  • Evelyn doing QA and closing issues on list
  • Review ways to test the Format ID micro-service plans today in mtg
  • Active user testing this week with report on user forum

Documentation

  • Courtney and AM team answered several user list questions this week, CM updated manual as result (esp. bagit ingest and DIP upload)
