=== Purpose ===

The following files of known formats were run through FITS. The FITS configuration file (fits.xml) was edited so that FITS would append the native output report for each tool included in FITS to the end of the FITS report.

The goals of the testing are:
*Identify how the various tools should be prioritized in fits.xml
*Identify any output value substitutions that should be included in the FITS mapping file (fits_xml_map.xml)
*Identify any formats that should be excluded from certain FITS tools (exclude-exts attribute in the <tool> tag in fits.xml)

Description Format:
*File Type (extension; mime type)
**Version - Link to tested file - Link to FITS report

FITS priorities (fits.xml) in these results:
*Tools are only reported when they have a result. For instance, if JHOVE does not identify a format, then file utility becomes the first priority. (See [http://code.google.com/p/fits/wiki/UserGuide FITS user guide documentation])
